My client Sarah had established herself already as the local nail guru when we connected and started discussing her brand identity. The thoughts at the beginning were that she wanted something timeless so she could keep the logo for a longer time. Especially within the nail industry there are a lot of logos with imagery of hands or polish bottles, but that was not our goal. I began with sending her some sketches and she picked out three variations that felt aligned with her vision. After finalizing the designs digitally we needed to find colors that represented her bubbly personality. Using all of these elements I also put together elements for social media, including a watermark for photos of her work and a layout for stories that she could use for last minute openings and other news for clients.
